Penguin Launches Book Country, An Online Community for Genre Fiction (Publishers Weekly) #
RIP Typewriters: Last Mfgr Closes http://on.mash.to/gJVzIF (Taught me to touch type, but I often cursed my typewriters!) #
Cue Happy Dance… The CW renews 'Supernatural,' and 4 more shows! EW.com #
@DarkWoofer I'm really enjoying it. And I've had the opportunity to read scripts several weeks ahead while writing my SPN book. #
@DarkWoofer Another benefit is that my Supernatural book won't fall into a black hole like Monolith did after Angel was cancelled! #
Listen'g to Rolling Stone stream of Stevie Nicks' new album. Love what she's done w/ Poe's Annabel Lee #
Massive thanks again to @crackberry – today I received the Blackberry Playbook I won in their launch day contest #
Perfect timing! AT&T releases OS 6 for my Blackberry model (Bold 9700) today – same day I receive my free Playbook #
@1to1Discovery First T'storms stopped me. Now I'm trying to get my BB back on track after upgrading the to OS 6. Then – PLAYBOOK! #
@1to1Discovery Amazon promised a Playbook Kindle app at launch, but nothing yet. I want that. And a Netflix streaming app. To start… #
@MarryOhotnicky3 I'll check it out. I heard Netflix web streaming won't work on Playbook anymore, thus the need for an app. Thx. #
@1to1Discovery Unboxed! Has "new car" smell. Set up network w/ WPS. Downloading 287MB update now. Keyboard has click feedback. #
@1to1Discovery I have Netflix on my ipod touch; thought it would be that much better on bigger Playbook screen. #
@MarryOhotnicky3 How can you see what kind of movie database they have? Not clear from "How It Works" section…? #
@1to1Discovery We use Wii for Netflix on TV. Okay quality. Not HD. Thought about Roku but only have 1 HDMI port on our set. #
PlayBook: Logged into my amazon cloud player. Works fine! Need to change PB mode to showcase so I could run in background. #
@1to1Discovery Auto-Pairing w/ my Bold didn't work. Had to do manual pairing. Got BB Bridge OTA since AT&T hasn't released it. It's working. #
@1to1Discovery Unfortunately, our BluRay preceded the ubiquitous Netflix enabled models. #
@1to1Discovery The stereo speakers are WOW on the PlayBook. 🙂 #
@1to1Discovery Supposedly a standalone on-board email/contact app is coming by summer. Also aMail is awaiting approval (3rd party email app) #
@1to1Discovery I'm not sure if I should leave Bridge connected continually or not. Accelerated battery drain on either side…? #
Playbook: Trying Xfinity's Play Now feature. Doesn't like the browser it detects. Trying anyway. Seems… stuck. #
Tried another Xfinity play-now video on the PlayBook and it's working. Cool! #
Mixed results w/ Xfinity Play Now on PlayBook. Game/Thrones protests browser; Smallville worked. Multiple providers feeding Comcast hub? #

@kelios Kindred mass market's been out of print for a while. The trade paperback (POD) is overpriced, so good ebook price is important. #
@kelios I'd love to have mass market still be available. Never had opportunity to buy extra copies for myself. Kayleighbug might have some. #
@kelios Cool. I sent them in a while ago and wasn't sure if they still had any. #
@kelios Yes. Very good. #
@crackberrykevin Email is on the way. Thanks! I kept reading the announcement over & over. Had to pinch myself! #
@KimonoGurl Thanks. Frankly, I'm stunned. Last time I won a contest (and not nearly as cool) was in the mid 80s?? #
