In the news: KINDRED SPIRIT and Me

HorrorWorld.org put up their reviews for August and the review of KINDRED SPIRIT is among them. Here’s a snippet of what they had to say about it:

KINDRED SPIRIT “Kindred Spirit is an excellent offering by John Passarella… a believability that resonates well with the reader…. the ending is cataclysmic but most satisfactory. Well written, fast paced and quite enjoyable, I highly recommend Kindred Spirit.”

Also today: an article about me and KINDRED SPIRIT appeared in our county newspapter, the Gloucester County Times. For those in the southern New Jersey area, you’ll find this article out in the “People” section (August 1, 2006), above the fold, titled Ghost Writer: Logan Township author John Passarella’s seventh novel is a paranormal thrill ride.
Though some of the facts got jumbled a bit, the gist of the article is very complimentary. Emma is the reason I’m smiling in the photograph. She was sneaking into the room where the photographer was taking my picture. Seeing her little face peek around the corner had me laughing, so the photographer had her come into the room and sit behind him, off to the side.
