"Flip" Chapbook*
Description: Two of my stories ("All Heaven in a Rage" & "Debts Long Due") are now available in a newly illustrated flip chapbook from Scrybe Press. Read one story, then flip the book around and read the other. Inside, you'll find a new introduction I wrote for the chapbook, explaining the genesis of each story.
Eric Asaris illustrated the chapbook, including two covers (pictured left) and three interior illustrations.
If you missed either of these stories in their original small press/short print run lives, you're in for a real treat. AHIAR (novelette length at 10,000 words) tells a tale of science gone horribly wrong, while "Debts Long Due" (4,000 words) is a chilling ghosts-in-(and then out of)-the-graveyard cautionary tale.

I received a webcam as a Christmas present. Took three tries to get the model I'm happy with (Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000), and I hope to do some video blogging, or video podcasts in the near future. Meanwhile, I made a short (approx 45 seconds) promotional video clip for the chapbook. You can watch the flip chapbook in action on the Passarella Home Page or on my blog.

PASSARELLA SITE FOR MOBILE DEVICES: Another Christmas gift I received was a BlackBerry Curve 8310. As smart phones get smarter, I believe more people will browse the Web on their phones more often. With that in mind, and with the 8310 in hand, I created a mobile Passarella site, complete with a mobile Web prefix, i.e., .mobi instead of .com.
I can only check the mobile site on my own smart phone. Every smart phone seems to be smart in a different way. So, I have a request. If you can, check out my mobile site on your own smart phone. Let me know if you experience any display problems that I might be able to fix. Also, what other features would you like to see on Passarella Mobile? I didn't put up my chapter excerpts because I wasn't sure if people would want to read so much text on a phone. Maybe I'm wrong.

Loose Ends
Due to webcam tinkering, I haven't gotten around to working on the SHIMMER podcast. I still plan to do at least one chapter, while posting an excerpt on the website. No update on the WITHER graphic novel. I'm hoping, also, to get started on my next novel project soon.
